How to Change Your Life
7. It’s All You (Jeshua)
Channeled by John McCurdy on September 28, 2022
This transcript has been edited from the original recording to ensure that the intended meaning is conveyed as clearly as possible. Note that Hmm, Mmm, and lines with just a dot, signify places to pause and to feel into what is being said.
Greetings, dear friend!
Ahh… We’re overwhelming John just a little bit with the energies.
And indeed, I am the one that you call Jeshua. Most of the world calls me Jesus, but I prefer the actual name that I had in that lifetime two thousand years ago, Jeshua ben Joseph.
Oh, John and I have been friends for eons of your time. John was part of the group that put their consciousness together to create me, to plant a seed of consciousness on Earth.
Hmm…
People think I was this grand master. Oh, and in a way I was, because I am made up from your consciousness. So many of you, you put your consciousness together. You took a part of yourself and you joined it together with parts of all the others and—oh, the words are inadequate here, but—you created me.
I don’t have a soul like you do. They called me the son of man, for that is indeed who I was. People tried to call me the son of God, and I looked at them and said, “I am God, just like you are, because there is nothing else other than divinity.”
Hear that, dear friend. There is nothing else! In all of creation, in all of existence, there is nothing else other than divinity.
Oh, you can describe it in many different ways. You can talk all around it, but you can never define it. You can never pin it down, because it is everything!
You look out at life and you see all these agendas. You see all this good and evil, right and wrong, and you think, “Oh, the good is divine. The rest is something else.”
Dear friend, what you have come to know, and what I am here to remind you of, is that it is all divinity. It is all divine. It is all there for a reason. And it is all in service to you.
Hear that!
No matter how painful it is, no matter how ugly it is and no matter how evil it seems, it is—well, it is you, showing you a part of yourself.
Because you said, I want to know who I am.
So all of these things, you judge them so harshly. You battle with them. All these people, all the angels you were battling with before there even were people on Earth, you judge them as evil. But they are simply showing you parts of yourself. Showing you, giving you an experience of, who you are.
There is no evil, and there is no good, either. That’s all just a judgment.
There is just you.
Just you! Divine, holy, beautiful you!
That’s all there is.
That is all there is!
And when you begin to let go of the judgments and the agendas, the ideas of how things should be or shouldn’t be, you find yourself in that field that dear Rumi spoke of.
There aren’t any words to describe it. It’s too beautiful. It’s too amazing. And from there, you begin to see how beautiful you are.
And how beautiful life is!
You begin to see how even the challenges you face in your human life—and oh yes, there are challenges! No matter how grand a master you become, as long as you have a human body there are going to be challenges. There are going to be things you have to deal with, pains and frustrations and crazy people, and oh…
John has been dealing with rodents in the attic for the past week. Well, really, all summer. He came up to his and Romana’s cottage up in the mountains, off the grid, away from everybody. He came up here for a personal retreat, and he knew he would be channeling this class while he was here.
Well, the first thing he had to do was try to get these rodents out of the roof. Oh, he’s been working on that all summer, because they’re kind of destructive and they smell bad and they make a mess of things, and sometimes they get inside the rest of the house and that’s a disaster. So he’s been dealing with that.
He spent the first few days here on the mountain trying to get them out, trying to find ways to get them out of the roof. He didn’t want to hurt them. He didn’t want to poison them and have them all die up in the attic. He didn’t want them to have to die at all. He just wanted them out in the forest where they belong.
So he spent all week here, dealing with that. Ha! And wondering, “Why am I dealing with that instead of communing with my soul and having some deep new insight, and creating this class that I feel coming? Oh, and figuring out how to get people to pay more money for these messages?”
Oh, he’s so grateful to the ones who do, but they are a tiny, tiny percentage of the people who view them. And so he’s been feeling all these frustrations.
Last night, after our last message, he sat outside. He opened up the last hole—he’s been spent all week patching holes in the house. He knew it was time to go home today and he knew there was only one rodent left in the roof, so he opened up the hole and sat there on the ground in the rain with his flashlight, and watched. He had to keep the other ones away, keep them from going back into the roof, so he watched and waited.
Eventually the last rodent stuck its head out and looked around, and went back inside. So he waited, waited, and waited some more. And finally it came out and moved away far enough that he got up, climbed up the ladder and closed up the hole. Now they’re all outside and all the holes are plugged.
Hmm…
This morning at 5:00 AM he woke up to the sound of chewing. Intense chewing. He went outside and looked, and there was this—oh, they’re called European Edible Dormice. “Edible” comes from the fact that the Romans used to think they’re a delicacy. They don’t look like any mouse you ever saw, they’re closer to a squirrel, but there it was, chewing away and trying to get through the patch.
Oh, John felt frustrated. “Why is this so difficult? Why can’t I just tell them to be gone?” he asks.
Well, there are a few people on the planet who are good at doing that, but not very many. And it’s not a skill John has ever really been good at.
So here he is. He went up and put some metal mesh over the wood in that spot. And he has to go home today, and he doesn’t know if next time he comes up here they’ll be back inside, so he’s feeling frustrated.
Dear friend, what we want you to understand is that as long as you have a human body, there are going to be frustrations, sometimes intense frustrations, in life. No matter how good a master you are, there are going to be frustrations as long as you are here on Earth, because that is how this whole game was created.
Yes, the frustrations come from your agendas, but agendas are part of being human.
So, we want you to be aware of your agendas. We want you to bring consciousness and wisdom to them. You could say, we want you to go beyond them, not to give them up. We want you to see them for what they are.
Indeed, like John’s mayonnaise, we want you to taste them. Because when you truly taste them, from that place of curiosity and openness, you discover that it’s just a flavor.
Mmm…
John hopes the rodents will give up. Ha! He can hear them out there chewing in another spot right now!
He hopes they’ll give up and move on, and they might. Or they might get back in. He knows that it doesn’t matter so much.
You see, in a way, it was a setup. It was a setup to keep him occupied and distracted so that he could truly bring in the energies of this class on how to change your life.
Hmm…
You keep thinking you need to connect more deeply with your soul, with yourself, so that your life can be better.
Ha!
Well, what we want you to know is that your soul is you.
You are connected! It is not possible to connect more deeply.
It might be possible for your mind to relax and pay a little more attention to your soul, but even that is an agenda. Instead of setting you free, it keeps you stuck.
Freedom is simply being you, however that shows up in the moment!
Simply being you. That is freedom. And you can do that when you realize that it is all divinity.
Not only that, but it is your divinity!
And those rodents outside, to the extent that they are part of John’s life right now, they are avatars within his own energy, created by him and serving him.
Hmm…
They are his own divinity, showing him parts of himself.
Oh, not so that he can evaluate them and judge them and get rid of them or fix them or do better, or anything like that. No!
But so that he can taste of them. (Pun intended.)
Hmm…
Indeed, the human mind goes, “Oh, that’s part of me? That nasty little rodent? How do I get rid of that part of me?”
Well, you don’t. You simply recognize it.
You asked, “Who am I?” Well, that is part of who you are!
And that’s not a bad thing. It just is. It’s there for you to open up to, to accept.
That doesn’t mean you have to accept the rodents coming into your house, at least not when there’s something you can do about it. But it is a part of you, and it is a part of you that needs to be seen and acknowledged and loved.
But what you need to know here is that it’s not up to you, the human, to love it. It’s up to your soul. And your soul sees it and goes, “Ah, what an interesting part of me!” It doesn’t judge it, it simply sees it. And in seeing it and bringing it into awareness, with curiosity instead of judgment, it brings consciousness to the situation. It brings light. It illuminates potentials.
Who knows what the result will be in physical reality. That’s for you to discover!
Will the rodents give up and go off into the forest? Maybe, maybe not. Even we don’t know.
What we do know is that they are here in service to John. They are here, showing him parts of himself. Not to judge, not to fix, not to evaluate and analyze.
The mind goes, “Oh, what parts of me are they showing me?”
Be still, Mind. Just taste it.
Mmm…
Sometimes in a human body, you feel fear. You feel the things that you know you need to do, that your soul is asking you to do by saying, “Come this way, step over here, let that old stuff go” and oh, the human gets afraid.
The mind says, “That’s not going to pay my bills. That feels pretty dangerous!”
Once again, the solution is the same. Taste it!
Taste the fear.
Notice it.
Acknowledge it.
Taste it like it’s a new flavor.
Be curious.
Feel into the fear in curiosity, and then make your choice.
You’ll know.
Fear isn’t something that you can get rid of or fix, but you can look at it. You can taste it.
And in that curious tasting, without evaluation—oh, the mind starts trying to figure out, “What am I afraid of? What is it really about? What are the old wounds that are coming up?”
Oh, be still Mind! None of that matters.
All of that is a mind game. It’s all power trying to heal something that doesn’t need to be healed. It simply needs to be seen. It needs to be tasted.
Mmm…
Oh, dear friends. I wish—no, that’s the wrong word.
Ahh…
I admire so much where you are at.
You see, we’re not telling you anything new. You’ve already discovered this. You’ve just been having a little trouble owning it, so we’re here to draw it out a little bit, to clarify it a little bit. And oh, my life on Earth two thousand years ago would have been so different if I had known what you know now!
People made up a lot of stories about me, about how grand a master I was, and it was true for those times. I was way ahead of most people, because I was made up of you and your consciousness, and you were way ahead. I embodied some of that when I came to Earth, and I lived and I taught, and I struggled with life.
Oh, I struggled with the challenges! And yes indeed, sometimes I did some very foolish things that ended up getting me crucified!
Hmm…
Yes indeed, that happened. It wasn’t to save mankind or to pay for anybody’s sins. It was the natural result of my own foolishness, my own zeal and my own agendas.
Oh, it served a purpose. It made such an impact on people that they built these huge churches in my name! They totally forgot what I taught and what I stood for, but oh, it made an impact. It planted a seed, and that was the real purpose. None of the rest mattered.
But I didn’t know. I didn’t know what you know now, and it’s so much fun watching you! Watching you bring consciousness and light to the challenges in your life.
Oh, the challenges are getting less, and they will continue to be less as you release agendas. You think that means giving up, and it doesn’t. It means going beyond.
It means letting go of the problems.
Mmm…
As long as you pick up your problems and try to solve them, there will always be more. Instead, taste them. Don’t try to solve them, taste them.
They are an experience in your life right now. Allow that experience!
Do what comes naturally in each moment.
Oh, maybe that means blocking off some rodent holes. But do it because it’s the natural thing to do right now.
Let go of the agenda.
That’s John’s job right now. He has to go home today. He has to let go, and whatever happens is what will happen.
It’s not about controlling the outcome. It’s simply about seeing and tasting this part of you, without the judgments.
The human goes, “Oh, that tastes awful!” or, “That tastes really good!”
The soul goes, “Oooh, this is an interesting flavor!”
Can you feel the difference?
The soul is simply curious: What is this flavor? What does it feel like? The soul doesn’t judge it as good or bad. It just wants to know this flavor, because this flavor is part of itself. This flavor is simply another answer to the question, Who am I?
You see, you didn’t ask that question so that you could fix all the parts of you that you don’t like. You asked that question because you knew those parts were there, and you wanted to know them. Not to fix them, but to know them.
This is who I am. I am that I am!
That means, I am all of it. And that is a beautiful thing!
So, when those parts of you that you don’t like get in your face, look them in the eye and say, Welcome home! Let me know how you feel, what you feel like, what you taste like, because you are part of me.
Mmm…
Then you will find yourself in Rumi’s field.
It’s really your field, your garden.
And yes, we will have one more message in this class. It will be an experience of going into your own garden, your own field.
This message was a surprise for John, for he thought last night that the next message would be that experience to wrap things up.
But you see, dear friend, that’s how life goes. That’s why we said in our last message that the master cannot plan. The Master does not know the future. We didn’t know that I was going to bring a message this morning—it’s morning for John—until it was time to do it, but here it is.
Mmm…
So, that’s how life works for the master, for the Merlin. The Merlin doesn’t know the future. The Merlin doesn’t know the outcomes. The Merlin simply BE’s in the moment, and tastes life. Every flavor of life.
The merlin is a very curious, very patient being. It simply tastes life. It tastes all the different flavors of itself.
Merlin, master, it’s all the same.
You. That is who you are.
The human thinks it has to figure everything out, to understand everything and to analyze everything. The master simply wants to taste it.
Mmm…
So many incredible flavors in life!
When you stop judging them as good or bad, you’ll start discovering flavors you never imagined.
And you will start to see how incredibly beautiful you are, just the way you are!
Mmm…
And then you will understand what it means to say, I am that I am.
Mmm…
And so it is.
