Letting Divinity Drive the Train

Channeled by John McCurdy on 13 August 2024

I am that I am!

Mmm…

You can call me Master John, Master Anna, or simply John, because I am John’s soul. That means that I am all that John is. So much more than the human that bears this name, and has borne many, many other names over the course of my journey on Earth.

Ahh…

I am John’s soul, John’s divinity, embodied here on Earth.

Oh, so many of you, you feel like you are going through this embodiment phase of your journey. What I want you to realize is that you are already embodied! You are just allowing the awareness of that.

You are your soul. You always have been. How could you be anything else?

Mmm…

You, and every body you ever been in, has been your soul. Your soul is the consciousness behind that body, within that body.

Oh, and the body is within that consciousness, as is everything else that you perceive. Ah, but that is for another discussion.

Here on Earth, you have these things called automobiles. You purchase an automobile, or obtain it somehow. You get in it, you put the key in it, you bring your consciousness into it, and then you drive it around for as long as you need it, or for as long as it lasts. Sometimes it wears out, sometimes it gets smashed, and then you get a new one.

Well, that’s how your body is. Oh, and you have driven many, many bodies!

But indeed, this one that you are in right now is something special. If you are resonating with these messages that we’ve been offering here, then you are living in a very special body.

Oh, it’s not special on its own. It came from your ancestors. It’s a product of your consciousness along with that of your mother and your father, and their mothers and their fathers, and your ancestors all the way back. But you and your soul made a choice and said, “This is it. This is my final lifetime. This is the lifetime where I am going to go beyond where any of the ascended masters have gone before.”

You see, each one of them came through this experience of Earth. Many, many experiences of Earth, until they worked through the challenges here and remembered themselves. And then they were complete. They dropped their body. Some of them just allowed their body to die of natural causes, others burned it up in a flash of light and fire and took it with them, in a sense. But up until now, nobody really truly embodied their souls into… Oh, we don’t even have the right words.

You see, you could say that they went back to their soul. That’s not quite the right words, because they are their soul. But they let go of the body, whereas so many of you are doing something different. You are staying in the body. You are allowing the body to transform, so that you can be in it… Or rather, so you can project it when you want to, so that you can have the experience of being in it and so that other people can see it.

They can’t see your soul, but they can see this body. So you are recreating your body, letting go of all the ancestral patterns, all the patterns from all of your other lifetimes and experiences, and creating something new. Something very new. Something that transcends the physical and the non-physical. You can—the best word we have right now is “project” it into the physical. Or you can take it back, and you can be non-physical.

You can be physical here, wherever you are right now. You can leave. You can be non-physical, and then you can come back and project that body again, wherever on Earth you want it to be. Or even in other places, modified, of course, to match the environments in those other places.

But because of your time in so many bodies here on Earth, as you go forward, as you go out into the cosmos and into creation, as you go out into new creations, ah, you know this body. And you will know how to project it into any situation where you might need it, in the perfect and appropriate way.

Ahh…

The human goes, “Oh, I can’t wait! This body is so tired. This body hurts so much.”

At least for some of you. Typically, those of you who have had the most of them are the ones hurting the worst right now. You spent so many lifetimes of trial and error, opening the pathways for the others so that they didn’t have to go through so much. But you paid the price.

So much! So much experience, so much pain, and all of that is… Well, now it is transforming.

And here you are.

For so many of you, your body is… Oh, you wonder if it’s going to survive another day. Sometimes John wonders if he can hold on for another day! And I remind him: Just let go. Stop trying to hold on, because I am handling this.

Mmm…

In our last message we mentioned an experience John had long ago about letting Soul drive the train, and we promised to talk more about that. And it is so important right now!

You see, John was… Oh, this was more than 20 years ago, 1997 to be precise, and he was living in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in the United States. And he was learning to trust.

He had discovered the Abraham-Hicks material, his first experience of channeling. Then he discovered the discussion group, the email discussion group for them, and he found himself spending all of his time on email participating in that group. And discovering, to his great surprise, that he had something to say and that he had an ability to say things in a way that people could understand and feel. So he found himself spending… He wasn’t a fast writer, and he always wanted to get it right, so he spent a lot of time on email.

He didn’t have a job. A year before he had lost his job, because he got hurt and couldn’t work for a while, and he knew that that was his soul and his body telling him that he had to take time for himself. He just couldn’t deal with working all day long, every day of the week almost, in order to make just enough money to keep doing the same thing. He just couldn’t do it anymore!

But he was afraid to stop, and so one day his body took things in hand and tripped him up and dislocated his right shoulder, and he couldn’t work. And once he got well, he knew he couldn’t go back to that job.

So here he was, a year later, and it was a year full of miracles! Somehow everything worked out. He and his wife traveled. They lived in a travel trailer, and they traveled to New York and remodeled a friend’s house. They traveled to Spokane in Washington State and visited his family, visited friends in California, and after about a year they finally made it back to Santa Fe. They had an amazing time!

And now here he was, and he knew… He started thinking, “Do I need to get a job? What do I need to do now?” Then he found himself spending all his time in this email, participating in this discussion group, and he knew he had to trust.

Well, they had about enough money to last for a month. They paid for a month’s rent at the RV park for the travel trailer, and after about a month they were out of money. Totally, completely out of money! And John’s wife was thinking, “Maybe we need to leave and go out and live in the desert somewhere, because we don’t have any money.”

And John knew, “No, I have to be here! I have to be connected! I have to have internet!” Back then they didn’t have cell phones with internet nearly everywhere.

“I know I have to be here”, John said. “Somehow this has to work out and I have to keep writing email, because that’s where my heart is. That’s where my passion is.” So he did. And oh, he was panicking!

And I kept nudging him and saying, “Just trust. Just trust!”

And on the day the rent was due, the money showed up. Just enough. In fact, two different checks came in the mail. Gifts from friends whose lives they had touched along the way, along their journeys, and they totaled up to within eleven cents of the amount of the rent. It was so close it was shocking. And they knew, “We have to trust.”

So, more money started coming, in different ways. John took a few odd jobs, helping people out here and there. He got paid a little bit, and somehow everything worked out.

The end of the second month came and they were flat broke again and asking, “How are we going to pay the rent? And we need a bunch more money this time, because there are all these other bills that are due now. And somehow, on the day the rent was due, the money showed up. Unexpected gifts, unexpected ways. It just showed up!

So that went on, and after about three or four months John was just amazed at how it was working out. And he was also so frustrated! “Why does it have to be right on the edge? Why can’t there be some extra? Why? Why does it have to be this way? Why do I have to panic every month?”

And I said to him, John, that’s the point. It’s because you panic every month. It blocks the flow. You’re still trusting, so it comes, but just enough. So, let’s go deeper here.

And that month, the money didn’t come. And everything got behind. The rent got behind, and everything else. John had just enough money to buy the food he needed. He paid the phone bill on the day the phone would have been disconnected. He had just enough gas for the pickup truck to go where he needed to go around town. Just enough, and none of the bills got paid that weren’t right on the edge.

Finally the end of the month came, and John knew that the people that ran the RV park—they’d been very generous in allowing him to stay even though he hadn’t been able to pay the rent on time, but he knew he wouldn’t be able to stay for another month. Usually you have to pay RV parks in advance, and he knew he couldn’t go more than a month behind.

So, the rent was due on the fifth of the month, the 5th of June, 1997. And the insurance for the pickup truck was due on that same day, and several other bills were right on the edge. And John was freaking out.

His wife was away visiting some friends, and he called her up and talked about how frustrated he was and how scared he was. And she finally said, “You know, I don’t know what to tell you, except that what comes up is that maybe you need to ask God for help.”

Well, that was a surprise for John, because both of them felt like they had gone way past their religious upbringing. But John felt something. When he hung up the phone he closed his eyes and said, “God, I don’t even know what you are anymore. I don’t know how to ask for help anymore, but I sure need it!”

And then he let it go. What else could he do? And he spent that day… It was actually a fairly strange day for him. It felt strange. And he spent most of it writing messages on this forum about creatorship, about creating, and wondering, “Why can’t I make this work for myself?”

Even though I was right there on his shoulder, you could say, saying, “It is working. Keep trusting!”

He went to sleep that night. Everything was due the next day and he was thinking, “What am I going to do?” But he let go of it and went to sleep.

In the morning he woke up from this very vivid dream. In this dream, he was riding on the tourist train that goes from Santa Fe to a town about twenty miles away. He was riding on this train, he was up on an observation deck somewhere, and there were friends with him and he was just having a good time! It was a bright sunny day and the only care he had in the whole world at that moment was keeping his cowboy hat on his head in the wind. And he was just having a great time!

Then he looked up ahead of the train, and there was this place where the tracks disappeared. It was like they’d been paved over, or somehow they just disappeared. They weren’t there and he was like, “Oh, what’s going to happen? The train can’t go without the tracks. We’re going to crash!”

But then he looked and there was this old gray-haired man driving the train, and this old man did something. John wasn’t sure what, but he did something and the train was on the other side of that gap in the tracks. And it was back on the tracks and going on just fine.

John went “Wow!” And then it happened again in another place, and then they were going down the tracks again and everything was fine. He couldn’t understand what this old man was doing!

Then they got to the edge of town and came around a bend in the tracks, and there was—it was like a mountain in the tracks, or a big pile of rocks or something. An impossible, impassible barrier, and it was right there. There was no time to stop the train. There was no time for anything but a big crash. Except…

[a pause as John chokes up]

Mmm…

John still gets emotional with this story.

So this old man did something, and the next thing John knew in this dream, the train was on the other side of that barrier, on the tracks, going along just fine. No crash. And he looked out ahead and the tracks were shiny and clear as far as he could see into the distance. Then he woke up and he thought, “Wow, that was intense!”

He got up and got in the shower, and about halfway through the shower he realized what it meant. He realized that the train is my life, his life, but God is driving.

Oh, today he understands that, well, he is God. I am God. I, his soul, I am God for him. And indeed, God is driving. And John realized that his job, his only job, is to have the ride. To enjoy the ride.

But, well, even that puts too much of an agenda on it, so his job is to simply be on the train and keep his hands off the controls.

Because he realized that, well, he can try to take the controls anytime, but he has no ability, at the human level, to get the train past those barriers or those places where the tracks are missing. So his job is to let me drive, and to simply have the ride.

Well, he cried for a while. Quite a while!

And then he pulled himself together and went out. He had an appointment to have breakfast with some friends, and he spent, literally, his last pocket change, his last coins, on a little bit of breakfast. He didn’t tell his friends what was happening, because they didn’t need to know. He knew this was about him. So he had breakfast with his friends and had a good time. Then he drove home and he was thinking, “Should I start packing up and getting the trailer ready to pull out? I don’t know where I’m going to go.”

He had enough gas in the truck to pull it out of the RV park, and not a lot more. And he just didn’t know. So he took a deep breath and got home, and there was a message on the phone. A message from a friend who said, “John, I’m calling from work. I need to talk to you.”

He was a little surprised, but he called her back. It was a person he’d done some work for in the past and had remodeled her New York house the year before. She said, “I need some work done around my condo here in Santa Fe, and I need you to do it while I’m out of town on business trips so that I don’t have to deal with it. So can you do that this summer?”

And John said, “Of course I can. I’d be happy to!” For she was a good friend.

So she said, “Good. Go over to my house, and there’s a check on the kitchen table. I hadn’t been putting it in the bank, and I realized this morning that it’s for you. It’s a little over two thousand dollars. Will that be enough?”

Well, this was 1997 and John said, “Yes, that will be enough,” after he almost dropped the phone! Because it was enough to catch up on all of the bills for the past month, pay all of the bills for the coming month, and have around five hundred dollars left over. And he said, “Yes, that’ll be enough.”

So he went and picked up the check, and took care of everything, and he was a different person.

That changed him. Oh, there have been a lot of challenges ever since, but more and more that’s such a touchstone for him. It always has been, and more and more he just trusts himself.

He hasn’t had a real job since then. Oh, he had a business, sort of, for years and years, fixing computers for people and doing different things, and occasionally handyman work, but he never had a “job” since the year before that. He learned to trust.

Well, but there are so many layers, so many layers of the fear, and he’s had so many experiences of just trusting and everything working out.

In 2010, he was diagnosed with diabetes. Then he went to the doctor and took the medication for several years, but eventually it started feeling not so good. And he had more and more experiences of learning to trust.

He tried to go off the medication a couple of times, until he started feeling the symptoms in his body and panicked and went back on the medicine. Until finally…

Oh, it was in the spring of 2016 when some new experiences came that changed him even more. He started learning to trust at such a deeper level, and life was flowing so magically!

Oh, there are many more stories we could tell, but we want to stay on this topic.

So, toward the end of that year, it was Shoud Day for the Crimson Circle and he was visiting his sister in Colorado, living in his camper van, and he was planning to go to the Shoud. But he woke up and he looked at his medicine. He’d been forgetting to take it. He’d been forcing himself to remember, putting the pill bottles all over his van to try to force himself to remember to take it, until he started getting sick to his stomach every time he took it.

So this morning he looked at his medicine and he said, “I do not want to spend today mostly in the toilet! It’s Shoud Day. I want to be there, be with my friends and hear Adamus.” And so he said, “I’m not going to do this anymore!”

He’d been learning that, from the human standpoint enlightenment, or realization, is mostly about the human going out of control, letting go of control. It’s what everything in his life for the past twenty years had been teaching him: letting go of control. And he realized that the medical approach to diabetes is all about control, and every time he went there he was just locking himself in to that diagnosis, to that control. So finally he said, “No more!” and he stopped taking the medicine.

He went to the Shoud that day, enjoyed it, enjoyed himself, and when he came home he threw away his medication and his glucose meter. He said, “No more sticking my finger every day to check my glucose levels. What is that telling my body? That I have to hurt it in order to try to make it better? No more!”

Well, it wasn’t long before the symptoms started coming back. But John kept coming back to letting God drive the train, letting Soul drive the train, letting Divinity drive the train.

Because that’s the key. It is not up to the human to figure it out anymore. You can’t. You simply can’t!

.

Well, so we want to talk about a metaphor here. You’ve heard it from us before, and you’ve heard it from Adamus before. But imagine you are driving down the road in your automobile, and suddenly this horrible noise starts coming out of the engine. What do you do?

Well, John has always been pretty handy with tools and a bit of a mechanic, so he would always stop the car, get out, see what’s going on, and try to fix it. And, well, that’s what he did with his human car also. You go to the doctor, and you try to figure out what’s wrong with it when it hurts.

Oh, John wants us to clarify that we are not giving you medical advice here. You have to trust yourself. You have to let your God drive your train. We are just telling you how it worked for John.

So, John kept trying to do that with his diabetes, with his body, just like he would with a car. Trying to fix it. “What pills should I take?”

Everybody was giving him advice about what supplements to take and how to eat, and all these things. So finally, he threw it all out. “No more! No more controlling my body!

Oh, he knew at this point that he’d had his realization. He knew he was complete. He knew that he could come home anytime. He didn’t really want to, for he really wants to see this process through! This transformation, he really wanted to see it through, but he also knew that he could go anytime and he wouldn’t have to come back, because he was complete. So he said, “Why should I control my body anymore? Maybe I need to trust my body. And more than that, trust my soul, my God, my Divinity, to take care of it.” So he did.

Well, it’s been a bit of a rough ride over the years. Lots of symptoms, but then he started finding out that a lot of those symptoms… Oh, other Shaumbra, other people on this journey, were having very similar symptoms and they didn’t have diabetes. So he stopped calling it diabetes. He just started calling it “transformation,” because that’s what it is.

Oh, there are many layers of belief systems, and belief systems are what shape your reality. They are what shape your body, so it has been a journey of releasing those belief systems. And he’s still here.

So, back to our metaphor. You’re driving down the road and your car, your automobile, starts crashing and banging and sounding like it’s about to fall apart. What do you do?

Well, at some point, you’re trying to control that car. You’re trying to pull it over to the side of the road so you can figure out what to do, and the steering wheel falls off. You try to slam on the brakes and the brake pedal falls off, and suddenly the gas pedal is jammed and it won’t slow down. What do you do?

Well, so many of you are in that place right now. Your automobile, your body, sounds and feels like it’s crashing, self-destructing, and you are trying to figure out what to do: What do you need? What did you do wrong? What supplements do you need? What food do you need? What doctor do you need? All these things, and nothing is working. It’s still crashing and banging and hurting worse and worse. What do you do?

Well, what John is learning, what I keep whispering in his ear is, “Trust. Trust. Breathe. Allow.”

Allow, and that does not mean, “Okay, I’ll allow it. Now show me what to do!”

No. It means you feel the pain, and you allow it.

If it’s too bad, take a painkiller. That doesn’t matter. But allow it.

Because, what is happening is that your car is transforming. Your body is transforming, and that means a whole lot of it is going away. It’s dying. It is being remanufactured even as it is going down the road, even as it is lifting off the ground into the air and becoming a high-performance airplane. Maybe even a rocket plane that can take you to the other dimensions, to the other worlds, to the other universes, and still come back here. And you said, “I am going to do this in this lifetime!”

So, pulling over to the side of the road and fixing it in the old way just doesn’t work anymore, and every time you try, you just kind of lock in that old reality. Because it reinforces the belief that created that reality, and what you are going through right now is the process of dissolving those beliefs. Those beliefs that shape mass consciousness and keep you hooked into it.

Ahh…

Every once in a while, John feels a desire for some vitamin C or something simple like that, and that’s a good thing. But after a couple of days, all of a sudden it feels yucky again. Because he knows, “If I do this as anything more than just a little reminder, a little support for my body in a moment, then I’m just locking in those old beliefs, that old reality, and reinforcing it.” So he lets the pills go and goes on with his life as best he can, even though it hurts quite a lot lately.

But he knows that’s just part of the process. Instead of just throwing this old car, this old body, into the junkyard like you’ve always done before, you are transforming it. Only it is not you, the human, transforming it. It is your soul, your divinity, your God. It is you.

So instead of throwing it in the junkyard, you are transforming it.

Oh, and that is a challenging process that has never really been done before! And it hurts along the way. And it takes time. From the human perspective, it takes time. Oh, for your soul it’s a moment. But for the human, yeah, it takes some time. Because if we did it all at once it would all blow up, and you would probably want to come back and do it again to get it right. So we have to let it take the time that it takes.

But you need to understand that you are not getting anything wrong! Just allow it to happen, and understand that God is driving the train.

That’s all you need to know.

You just need to be on that train and have the ride!

Oh, John used to say, “Enjoy the ride!” But sometimes it’s not very enjoyable, so now he gets it, and he says, “Just have the ride.”

Look out the window. Crawl in bed and hide under your blankets if you need to. Whatever.

Allow the ride, and keep your hands off of those damn controls! Because when you try to control the train, it will crash.

Your soul will pick up the pieces and take you on down the tracks, but it will be a lot easier for you if you keep your hands off of those controls.

Look around you. There is so much beauty! So much beauty in your life right now!

You look out the window of your train, and there is so much beauty! And you don’t have to do anything but see it. Acknowledge it.

Oh, you can see the ugliness too, for there is plenty of that. But that will make it hurt worse, so just focus on the beauty as much as you can.

Allow everything. Allow the ride.

You, the human, are not in control anymore.

It is not your job to get it right.

It is not your job to make sure you have the money you need, or anything else that you need, or to fix your body. Your job is to have the ride.

Look out the window. Shine your light on the scenery that goes by. That’s all!

Oh, you don’t need to focus your light anywhere. You are the light! Just allow it.

Allow it to shine out.

And, allow it to shine in.

You do that by finding gratitude, gratitude for the beauty.

Mmm…

A time will come when you will feel gratitude for the ugliness too, and for the pain, because you will understand what it is about and why you gave it to yourself.

Such a beautiful experience!

Such a deep experience!

It has never been done before, and you are doing it. We are doing it. And that is such an incredible thing!

You are so grand!

Mmm…

You are so grand! Let that in.

Let yourself have the ride.

Don’t try to fix it.

Oh, sometimes you need to go to the doctor and have some little thing taken care of. Trust that, but trust what feels in your heart. You will know.

Trust you.

And understand that it is all about letting go of control, and about letting God, your soul, your Divinity, drive the train.

Mmm…

Let go.

Have the ride!

Look out those windows.

You have this most incredible train. There is always enough food, there is always enough of whatever you need on this train.

Now, look out the window.

Look at the beauty of the landscape, of the nature, of you and your life and what you are doing right now. It is so incredible!

So let it happen, even when it hurts.

Ahh…

And so it is.

  1. Dearest John,
This channel was perfectly timed and a deep reminder to release more deeply the subtle levels of control. Loved the analogy of the steering wheel falling off. Much gratitude & love,
    Sheri
